Our premier style blinds are built from 3/16″ plate which is nearly twice as thick as the 12 gauge most people use for blinds. They have full length shelves and hooks on both sides. They have an open design, so it is easy to walk through the blind. All seams are welded inside and out and pressure tested for leaks before paint and tar which most manufacturers don’t do. The lids are lockable with one padlock with our lid locking system. 2″ tubing runs across the bottom of the blind to keep it from bowing over time which most manufacturers do not do. The 2″ tubing is drilled for 1.5″ tubing to bolt in, the 1.5″ tubing sticks outside of the blind 12″ and has holes to attach anti-flotation boards. We are now offering walk-down stairs as an option. They have raised expanded metal on them for traction, and they also have a removable handrail to use for getting in and out of the blind. The premier blinds are primed inside and out, then the outside gets 6-8 coats of roofing tar until we hit 1/32″ thickness and the inside gets 1 coat.
We typically stock the premier blinds in 6′ 2 mans, 12′ 4 mans, and 15′ 4 mans with walkdown stairs. We are going to be adding 8′ “Super 2s” or 3 mans to our inventory in 2025. Larger blinds and 9′ 3 mans can be ordered as well. We can also add walk-down stairs to both ends of the blinds.
Our “Y” Style blinds are built from 12g which most people use to build blinds. They have an open top with 6″ wide trays between each hole of the blind. There are hooks on both sides above each channel. All seams are welded inside and out and pressure tested for leaks before paint and tar which most manufacturers don’t do. 2″ tubing runs across the bottom of the blind to keep it from bowing over time which most manufacturers do not do. The 2″ tubing is drilled for 1.5″ tubing to bolt in, the 1.5″ tubing sticks outside of the blind 12″ and has holes to attach anti-flotation boards. The “Y” Style blinds are primed inside and out, then the outside gets 3-4 coats of roofing tar until it measures 1/64″ thick.
We typically stock the “Y” blinds in 6′ 2 mans and 12′ 4 mans. Larger blinds can be ordered as well.
